Assistant Manager – Maintenance | LAUGFS Corporation (Rubber) Ltd
THE ROLE
The job holder will be responsible and should ensure that all maintenance activities are scheduled and implemented on time as well as the availability of maintenance resources to execute maintenance routings to achieve the department’s KPI’s. He/She should prepare and track the maintenance budget according to the guidelines, take corrective actions and provide inputs for the annual maintenance budget. Training the team members to improve the performance, efficiency, productivity in line with the company requirements while fulfilling the regulatory requirements of factories ordinance will also be the responsibility of the job holder.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for Machine breakdown & Preventive maintenance with necessary records
- Attend to the preparation of Engineering drawings
- Oversee ordering of Material/services in coordination with the engineering stores
- Initiate new product implementation related activities and maintain records
- Coordinate with external parties related to maintenance activities
- Attend to machine modifications and designs
- Responsible for ISO 9001, 14000, 50001 & 45001 related activities & necessary preparation of reports/records updating
- Train the team members up to the desired level & maintain good housekeeping practices
- Responsible for Cost control & Process FMEA
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma from a recognized University
- 6-8 Yrs. working experience in similar field
- Ability to work with ACAD, Solid works
- Knowledge on Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems maintenance
- General knowledge about electrical systems/maintenance & steel fabrication
- Communication & interpersonal skills
- Time & People management coupled with excellent Leadership skills
