LAUGFS Gas is a BOI approved company which commenced operations in 2001 October with the liberalisation of the Sri Lankan LPG industry. Since then LG has remained the only local player, competing against a global giant to gain a significant share of the market in a short period of 6 years. Having established a trusted name among all market segments, especially in the domestic LPG segment, LG is the fasted growing LPG player in the country. Company sales show a healthy continuous growth at a rate much faster than the average market growth rate, giving an ever increasing share of a fast expanding LPG market in Sri Lanka.
