LAUGFS Supermarkets Limited a subsidiary of the LAUGFS Holdings Limited introduced its second foreign money changing facility at its outlet at Kohuwala.
LAUGFS Supermarkets Limits is the only supermarket chain in the country that offer foreign money changing service to the general public at its out lets.
Speaking at the opening ceremony the Deputy Controller of the exchange , Central Bank of Sri Lanka . K.S. Thilakaratne said that the new facility would make immense contribution for the general public conveniently change their foreign currencies .
Director General Manager of the LAUGFS Supermarkets Limited Takura Gunasinghe said that it is indeed great occasion for LAUGFS Supermarkets Limited where its is the only supermarket chain that offer foreign money changing facilities.
LAUGFS Supermarkets said that soon it will expand its money changing centres to its Havelock road outlet and other selected outlets. Currently LAUGFS Supermarkets have 25 outlets in Colombo and its suburbs.
