The LAUGFS Gas Lanka Limited yesterday agreed before the Supreme Court to give CTB vehicles a free air emission test for one year. This was told to Court when the rights violation application filed by an environmentalist was called before the Court. Meanwhile Gemunu Wijeratne, Chairman of the Private bus Owners Association of the Western Province told the Court that, 1751 buses were investigated for the use of ticketing machines and to see whether the conductor wore uniforms, as ordered by the Court.
