Laufgs signs lubricant deal with Governm

LAUGFS Holdings Ltd signed a historic agreement With the Government of Sri Lankan on Thursday to engage in the business of import and selling of lubricants in Sri Lanka. “LAUGFS” was first to sign the agreement with the Government With the full liberalization of the Lubricant market in the country out of seven new players selected after stringent process of evaluation. Mr. A.P.A. Gunasekara, Secretary and Mrs. Kanthie Wijetunga, Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Petroleum and Petroleum Resources signed the agreement on behalf of the Government and Mr. W.K.H. Wegapitya chairman “LAUGFS” and managing Director Mr. Thilak de Siva signed on behalf of the company.
