The government yesterday announced a massive reduction in the price of a 12.5 kg domestic gas cylinder and attributed it to the reduction of world market prices. Consumer Affairs Minister Bandula Gunawardena said a 12.5 kg cylinder of LAUGFS will be reduced by Rs. 334 and Shell gas by Rs. 310 from midnight yesterday.
