Assistant Manager Marketing

At LAUGFS Corporation (Rubber) Ltd., established in 2008, we operate one of the largest manufacturing facilities in Sri Lanka, specialising in the production of solid, press-on, resilient, skid-steer, and custom-designed tyres that meet international standards. Our tyres are proudly exported to over 50 countries, including the USA, Canada, Spain, Italy,
France, Belgium, Germany, Russia, the Middle East, Singapore, and India.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop sales plans aligned with organizational goals and targets.
  • Manage all aspects of customer requirements by liaising with cross-functional teams.
  • Explore and identify new market opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring sales and marketing efforts align with customer needs and expectations.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing sales forecasts and reports to support business decisions.
  • Contribute to maintaining and enhancing the company’s brand image and reputation.
Candidate Profile
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or a related field (CIM/SLIM qualifications will be an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in the export industry, handling international sales and marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital media planning and campaign management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive approach.
