Anantaya Resorts and Spa, the newly opened luxury beach resort of Laugfs Holdings, received international recognition recently by winning the award for the Outstanding website at the 2014 Internet Advertising Competition (IAC). The website, developed by E- Marketing eye, was judged on creativity, innovation, impact, design, copy writing, use of the medium and memorability.
It emerged triumphant despite being in direct competition with many other international websites, a remarkable achievement for Anantaya in the first few months of operation. Anantaya Resorts and Spa is owned by Laugfs Holdings’ subsidiary Laugfs Leisure and is located on the Chilaw beach.
It is the first venture in to the upmarket hospitality industry by Laugfs and the hotel’s myriad offerings are rapidly making the five-star resort an option for travellers on the lookout for luxury accommodation.
The IAC, organized by the Web Marketing Association and now in its 12th year, recognizes the best online advertising in 96 industries and 9 online formats including online ads, video, mobile, newsletter, email and social media.
