LAUGFS Gas distributor has decided to enter the country’s mini hydro power generation sector with an initial investment of Rs.500 million, a Stock Exchange disclosure filed by the company said. This is its first investment in the hydro power sector and the company expects to develop Ranmudu Oya Mini Hydro Project in Balangoda under its fully owned subsidiary M/s LAUGFS Power Ltd.
