LAUGFS gas price reduced

The price of a12.5kg cylinder of LAUGFS gas had been reduced by Rs.46 with effect from midnight September 1, while the price of a 12.5kg cylinder of shell gas remained the same, said Cooperatives and Internal Trade Minister Johnston Fernando yesterday. “The new price ]of a 12.5kg LAUGFS gas cylinder is Rs. 1593 while a 12.5kg shell gas cylinder will remain at Rs. 1652. The new prices will prevail in September and October,” the minister said. The new price comes in the wake of the reduction in the world gas prices..
