The “LAUGFS Gas Family day 2010” was an outrageous event that blended entertainment, track & field events with cricket, an award ceremony for excellence with a musical fiesta comprising of Derena Super Stars. The members & their families waited with much anticipation for this day, the 9th Saturday of January 2010 to gather at the Havelock park from early in the morning and to experience to their surprise the carnival atmosphere which prevailed inside the park. For the first time the members were divided in to four houses namely PROPANE, BUTANE ETHAINE & METHAINE which the respective huts were creatively decorated in a highly competitive manner.
