Days after the Shell gas price hike, LAUGFS Gas also increased the price of a 12.5kg domestic cylinder by Rs. 261 from midnight yesterday. Accordingly, a LAUGFS 12.5 kg cylinder will cost Rs. 1721. A spokesman for the company said that despite the approval from the Consumer Affairs Authority to increase the price of a cylinder by Rs. 371, it decided to only increase by Rs. 261.
