LAUGFS Gas Company will be exploring new horizons down under with an investment of Australian $ 2 million in the auto gas conversions sector, which will be kicking off operations by the end of this month.
This new venture will also grant LAUGFS “multinational†status, as the first energy company in Sri Lanka to branch out into operations overseas. The main reason for this venture as outlined by the LAUGFS Gas Company Chairman W.K.H Wegapitiya is a grant of US$ 3 000 given by the Australian government for owners to convert their cars into gas.
