Days after Shell Gas increased gas prices,the LAUGFS gas Company too announced that it was increasing prices by RS 89 from yesterday.
LAUGFS gas chairman W.K.H Wegapitiya complained yesterday that the consumer affairs authority had last week given shell gas permission to raise the price of a cylinder by Rs.100 but laugfs was allowed a lesser amount. he said the company would appeal against the decision.
