Tax Associate Job Overview

In the tax associate role, you will obtain and review each tax information. You will prepare the necessary tax-related documents pertaining to income, expenditures, and other pertinent information. Success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to minimize each tax liability while remaining compliant with tax laws.

Tax Associate Job Responsibilities and Duties

•              Monitors and maintains accurate records of each VAT/SVAT corporate tax computation

•              Formulates, implements and evaluates legal tax reduction

•              Performs tax audits- VAT/SVAT/Income Tax

•              Ensures company documents and filings are compliant with Statutory regulations at IRD state levels

•              Manages and controls budgets

•              Advises on tax strategies, compensation and benefit plans, and accounting systems

 

Key Responsibilities:

•              Maintains complete and accurate financial records

•              Tracks and analyzes financial information, financial statements

•              Develops strategies on improving financial performance

•              Implements or improves on department procedures for data accuracy and efficiency

•              Ensures that the treatment of accounts adhere to regulations

•              Coordinates with the financial department to make financial decisions

 

Qualifications:

Job Requirements

•              CA certification (Part)

•              Bachelor’s degree in Accounting plus Advantage

•              Minimum 2 years of experience in tax preparation

•              Familiar with tax and accounting software and systems

•              Analytical with strong attention to detail

•              Great time-management skills

•              Highly organized

•              Excellent communication and management skills

•              Detail-oriented

•              Proficient with accounting programs

•              Strong leadership skills
