Deputy General Manager - Operations

In this crucial role, you'll partner directly with the CEO, shaping the future of our IV fluid production and propelling our business to new heights. We thrive on saving lives by providing locally-made pharmaceuticals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to formulate and execute strategic initiatives for healthcare products manufacturing.
  • Lead the initial project management of key ventures, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Establish and oversee short- and long-term goals, aligning them with the overall company vision.
  • Effectively plan and manage resources, optimizing costs and maximizing ROI.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and achieving mutual success.
  • Spearhead business expansion initiatives, identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities.
  • Drive operational excellence within the company, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to the development and mentorship of high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage KOLs in a manner that benefits both the company and all its stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related field would be an added advantage.
  • BSc degree in process, marketing, finance or administration from a recognized university.
  • MBA or MSc in Science or Management will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, project management, and business development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building rapport and influencing stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership ability with a passion for inspiring and motivating teams.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and quality management principles.
  • A proactive and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning.
