Quantity Surveyor - LAUGFS Engineering

We are looking for an energetic self-starter to join our professional teams as a Quantity Surveyor in the Project Division or increase workload in the Project Division.

 JOB DESCRIPTION – Quantity Surveyor 

• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the Project Engineer/or the client
• Undertaking cost analysis for the assigned project work
• Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
• Performing risk, value management and cost control
• Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders
• Providing advice on contractual claims
• Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
• Valuing completed work and arranging payments
• Good knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Budget handling skills
• Excellent IT and math skills
• Methodical approach to work and good organization skills
• Clear understanding of Building Regulations and other legal guidelines
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• An excellent team player

         Minimum Qualification and experience

  • HND in Quantity Surveying, preferably UK qualified
  • 2-3 years experience
