Incorporated in October, 2005 LAUGFS Corporation (Rubber) is situated 43Km south-west of Colombo with a manufacturing plant that is in the heart of the Sri Lankan rubber district.
Sri Lanka is the world's seventh largest producer and the fifth largest exporter of natural rubber. A major supplier of latex and crepe to the world market, Sri Lanka's contribution to the global value added rubber market stands at 60% whilst 80% of its produce is consumed by the global market for solid tires.
Identifying an opportunity for rubber based products, a manufacturing infrastructure covering an extent of 2.43 hectares, equipped with a state of the art production facility and a well thought out product line, we aim to provide a range of automotive rubber products such as
> Pneumatic tires
> Spring leaf bushes
> Balance bar bushes
> Shock absorber rings & mounts
> Engine mounts
> Mud flaps
Supplementing this range is a diverse product line to suit household and domestic use. Our ability to manufacture products that fit exact customer specifications allow us to customize to customer requirements.
First on the Pneumatic tire portfolio is LAUGFS Colt, a 4.00 x 8 small pneumatic tire with a 425kg at 425KPa (60RSI) and flexible sidewalls designed and manufactured for three-wheelers. A range of larger pneumatic tires for motor bikes, passenger vehicles and heavy duty vehicles under the brand names Palomino and Stallion are also under production development.
