Test Tips for successful and rapid results
>
Bring your vehicle to normal operating temperature. A 20km drive on the freeway is best.
>
Flush your diesel vehicle exhaust system three times by pressing the accelerator rapidly,
just before coming for testing which will remove smoke particles in the system.
>
Once in line for testing, turn off all accessories (air conditioner, lights, wipers, heater, radio, etc.)
>
While in line, do not shut off engine. This helps to keep the engine at normal operating temperature.
>
If you have a locking gas cap, bring your key(s) with you. The vehicle's gas cap(s) must be accessible.
>
Make sure where your engine numbers and chassis numbers are located and legible.
>
Make sure fan belts are in good condition.
>
Make sure that your vehicle not over heats during normal running.
>
Make sure that your silencer does not have holes or beaters connected.
